FEROGMORE — Services for Lee Edward Collins, 65, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. Jarrod Bottley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
A celebration of life wake service will be 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mr. Collins was born March 7, 1953, in Frogmore, the son of Mose Lee Collins and Estell Jefferson.
He was a retired truck driver for 33 years with the City of Vidalia.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cooking, fishing and collecting antiques.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John Henry and Melissa Collins; one brother, James Collins; and one nephew, Jimmy Sheppard.
Survivors include his wife, Lauretha Bush Collins; three sons, Chioke Bush and wife, Corey, Terrick Bush and wife, Sharee, and Joshua Bush and wife, Candice; two daughters, Chanell Finley and husband, Shannon, and Crista Bush and husband, Lynell; three brothers, Mose Collins, Danny Collins and wife, Cleotha, and Joseph Collins; four sisters, Gloria Barnes and husband, Darnell, Irene Walters and husband, Ronald, Estelle Collins and Diana Vaugh and husband, David; and special friend, Luster Kenny.
