BROOKHAVEN — Services for Ellsworth Aldrich “Beau” Forrester, 78, of Hazlehurst, who died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel in Brookhaven.
Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral service.
Mr. Forrester was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Natchez, the son of John Ellsworth Forrester and Loreign Adalaide Aldrich Forrester.
He was a graduate of Natchez High School and Mississippi State University.
He was also the owner of an insurance adjusting firm, a member of Hazlehurst Methodist Church and Ducks Unlimited.
Mr. Forrester enjoyed outdoor life, hunting and gardening, as well as cooking. His passion, though, was his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him — such a wonderful man.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Simmons Forrester; two sons, David Michael Forrester and wife, Lisa, and John Rhodes Farnham and wife, Jenny; two daughters, Ashley Leigh Forrester and Michaelanne Barton and husband, Brett; one brother, Godfrey Ballard Forrester and wife, Shari; and seven grandchildren, Hanna Grace Forrester, Annabrett, Blythe, Bella and Brooks Barton, John Michael and Julianne Farnham.
