FAYETTE — Fredrick M.E. Felton-Nickelson, 33, of Roxie, who died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Jeremiah C. Lutch officiating.
Burial will follow at Felton Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Nickelson was born Feb. 8, 1985, in Fayette, the son of Hubert Carl and Juanita Felton Nickelson.
He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Betsy F. Nickelson; four uncles, Charles E. Felton, Howard C. Felton, Enos Lee Felton and Earnest Lee Felton; and one aunt, Lillie M. Thomas.
Survivors include his mother; one son, Jalen Velasquez; one daughter, Jalaja Felton; four sisters, Yolanda F. Allen, Lisa McCorquadale, Ivy Mays and Breonna Nickelson; grandparents, M.E. and Bessie R. Felton; six uncles; seven aunts; his companion, Rechelle Brooks; one goddaughter, Haylei Blanton; three godsisters, Preanna Nickelson, KeOnnia Williams and Keiser Walker, one godbrother, David Kinstley Jr.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
