NATCHEZ — Four people were arrested on drug-related charges Saturday evening after a drug bust at a Natchez residence.
Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said Adams County Special Operations Group agents received information about possible drug activity at 42 Newman Road.
While watching the residence, deputies stopped James Holoman, after he left a residence and drove away in a white Cadillac. Patten said Holoman admitted to deputies that he purchased the drug Suboxone from Aaron Cade Cloy, who reportedly lived at the residence.
Holomon was charged with possession of a schedule III substance.
Patten said deputies then spoke to Cloy at his residence, along with Sheila Johnson, who was also inside the house at the time.
Cloy reportedly admitted to selling Suboxone to Holoman. Cloy was also found to be in possession of five grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Agents found Johnson with one used syringe and three new syringes with 50 small Ziploc bags.
Cloy was charged with possession of a schedule II substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Adams County Jail.
Patten said agents found Jonathan Seals a few hours later in Johnson’s vehicle reportedly with four grams of methamphetamine. Agents determined that Seals reportedly left 42 Newman Road in Johnson’s vehicle prior to their arrival earlier that evening.
Agents transported Seals to the Adams County Jail on a charge of possession of schedule II drugs.
Patten said Cloy, Johnson and Seals were already out on bond for other drug charges.
Cloy was out on bond on charges of possession of schedule II drugs, possession of schedule III drugs, possession of schedule IV drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was out on bond for the charges of sale of schedule II drugs. Seals was out on bond for charges of possession of schedule II drugs with intent to deliver.
The court date for the three is set for Tuesday.
