NATCHEZ — Services for Clinton Alex King, 53, of Natchez, who died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. King was born Aug. 18, 1964. in Natchez, the son of Ovelar S. King and Mary Ann Gray King.
He was a member at Washington Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 12.
King enjoyed going to Natchez Fitness for exercise every day. He loved meeting people and had a number of friends. He also loved playing with his two cats, Tanner and Little Bit, and loved to drive his car.
King was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Gray King; two brothers, Edward O. “Eddie” King and Robert W.  “Bobby” King; five nieces, Amber Rose Bass, Joy Lynn Deville, Nicole King, Kim Jenkins and Megan King; and two nephews, Robert Marley King and Preston Wayne King.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
The family extends a special thank you to Encompass Hospice for their care during the last few months of his life.
