NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Leslie Wayne Bonnette, 69, of St. Joseph, La., who died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, in Natchez, will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church Christian Life Center.
Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the center.
Mr. Bonnette was born July 29, 1949, in Ferriday, the son of Raymond Travis Bonnette Sr. and Willie Mae Griffin Bonnette.
He was a well-known local musician. He also served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Cheryl Slayton Bonnette.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristen Hoover and husband, Bradley, and Sarah Cowart; five granddaughters, Regan Gauntt, Ciara Guantt, Darby Gauntt, Maribeth Cowart and Amelia Cowart; three brothers, Raymond Bonnette, Bill Bonnette and Mark Bonnette; and a number of other relatives and friends.
