LORMAN — Services for El Kahirah Yakim Israel, 75, of Lorman, who died on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, in Jackson, will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at the J.T. West Memorial Chapel, West Gate Funeral Home-Fayette Branch.

Arrangements are under the directions of West Gate Funeral Home-Fayette Branch.

Mr. Israel was born on March 30, 1943, in Detroit, the son of Juanita Cathaway.

He was employed by UOI Automotive as office manager.

Israel was a member of the Muslim/Muhammad’s University of the New Islam.  He enjoyed chess and was an outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife, Elisheba Israel; three sons; four daughters; The Son of Man, leader and teacher and the Brothers and Sisters of the New Nation of Islam.
