Golden-Poirier

Chuck and Diane Golden of Natchez and Jim and Jan Hancock of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynne Golden to Brandon Joseph Poirier, son of Francis and Yvonne Poirier of Youngsville, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is employed by Home Bank in Lafayette, La.

She is the granddaughter of Velma Cowart and Roma Golden and the late H.C. Golden, H.O. Cowart and Lawrence Smith, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School in Lafayette and is employed by Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

He is the grandson of Calvin LaCombe of Gueydan, La., and the late Celes LaCombe, the late Lloyd and Helen Martin of Lake Arthur and the late Francis and Gladys Poirier of Youngsville.

The wedding will be 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at The Hotel Vue in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
