NATCHEZ — Services for Joseph Leon “Cartwright” Carter, 72, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Living Word Worship Center with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.   
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Carter was born April 15, 1946, in Woodville, the son of Emeal and Ella Carter.
He was a member of Cash Money Brothers.
Carter was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Roslyn Diane Carter; three daughters, Alfreda Diane Glover, Joyce Marie Carter and Kimberly Carter Shannon and husband, Jeff; one son, Nicholos Shannon II; a very special daughter, Janice Jackson and husband, Donald; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Barnes and Ella Robinson; one brother, Dave Carter; a special friend, Adeline Stewart; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
