NATCHEZ-Graveside services for Ruby H. “Patsy” Arseneau, 95, of Natchez, who died peacefully at home Sunday, Nov. 18, will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Father David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arseneau was born March 3, 1923, in Franklin County, the daughter of Larry H. Halford and Hattie Black Halford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick A. Arseneau; son-in-law, Charles L. Bellis, Jr.; five brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include three daughters: Patricia A. Bellis of Vidalia; Susan P. Arseneau and husband, David Roberson, of Richardson, Texas; and Katherine M. Higdem of Castle Pines, Colo.; three granddaughters: Natalie G. Higdem of Seattle, Wash.; Aaron Marie Higdem of Houston, Texas; and Brandy M. Dawson and husband, Bret, of Magnolia, Texas; two special nieces: Bobbie Hetrick of Shreveport, La.; and Bernice Poole of Monterey, La.; special friends: Margie Garner and Norma Lynn Walker, both of Natchez; and a cherished caregiver: Sabrina “Marie” Conner Davis of Washington, Miss.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Natchez Adams County Humane Society or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
