NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Ruby H. “Patsy” Arseneau, 95, of Natchez, who died peacefully Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at her residence, will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Arseneau was born March 3, 1923, in Franklin County, the daughter of Larry H. Halford and Hattie Black Halford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick A. Arseneau; son-in-law, Charles L. Bellis Jr.; five brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia A. Bellis of Vidalia, Susan P. Arseneau and husband, David Roberson, of Richardson, Texas, and Katherine M. Higdem of Castle Pines, Colo.; three granddaughters, Natalie G. Higdem of Seattle, Aaron Marie Higdem of Houston, and Brandy M. Dawson and husband, Bret, of Magnolia, Texas; two special nieces, Bobbie Hetrick of Shreveport, La., and Bernice Poole of Monterey; special friends, Margie Garner and Norma Lynn Walker, both of Natchez; and a cherished caregiver, Sabrina “Marie” Conner Davis of Washington.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Natchez Adams County Humane Society or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
