The first day of December could include severe weather

A strong system of storms will move through the area late tonight into early Saturday morning, bringing with it the possibility of severe weather.
The National Weather Service in Jackson has raised the risk level of severe weather for Adams County and surrounding counties and parishes to “slight” which means there is a possibility of damaging wind gusts, tornadoes and hail.
The weather system is forecast to move through the region between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
The chance of rain Saturday will be 50 percent before 1 p.m. The skies are forecast to clear Saturday afternoon before the evening’s parade in downtown Natchez.
