NATCHEZ— Services for John Wesley Caraway Sr., 79, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 1, 2019, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Kimball officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the funeral home.
Mr. Caraway was born July 16, 1939, in Poverty Point, La., the son of John Cecil Caraway and Etta Mae Blackwell Caraway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Amy Kay Caraway; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his four children, Sandra Kay Palmer and husband, Jerry, of Pearl, John W. Caraway Jr. and wife, Joylynn, of Natchez, Suzanne Barnett and husband, Dale, of McCall Creek, and Tina Mae Floyd and husband, John, of Brookhaven; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Caraway and Charles Caraway; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Palmer, Hunter Wallace, John Floyd, Thomas Floyd, Dustin Barnett, Collins Wallace and Joseph Palmer.
