CALHOUN, La. — Graveside services for Carr William Brown, 59, of Natchez, who died Sunday, April 7, 2019, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Calhoun City Cemetery in Calhoun, La.    
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Vidalia chapel.
Mr. Brown was born Feb. 6, 1960, the son of Lobdell P. Brown Jr. and Kelley Crothers Smith Brown.
Carr loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Brown was preceded in death by his mother, Kelley Crothers Smith Brown.
Survivors include one daughter, Leslie Brown of Monroe, La.; companion, Myra Freeman of Natchez; his father; one grandson, Levi James Verbeck; one brother, LP Brown III; one niece, Isabelle Grace Brown; one nephew, Zachery Niemi Brown; and his adopted family, Kristen Maples, Amy Hall, Zackery Maples, Kessley Maples, Jalen Hall, Layla Banks and Kyra Banks.
Pallbearers will be Zackery Maples, Michael Freeman, George Belton, Don Blankenstein, Steve Fleming and Ricky Warren.
