Tracy Hall Gammon announces the engagement of her daughter, Carrie LeGette Gammon to John Luke Weeden, son of Mark and Carla Weeden of Tupelo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mississippi State University and has begun her schooling in the field of occupational therapy.

She is the granddaughter of Caroline Wheeler Doughty of Natchez and Darius Hall of Decatur, Ala.

Carrie is the great-granddaughter of the late Morris and Louis Doughty of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Mississippi State University’s Swalm School of Chemical Engineering and is employed by Cemex USA, in Brooksville, Fla.

The wedding will be 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow at the bride’s family home, Kenilworth.
