NATCHEZ — The Sports Center Dixie Youth Baseball 11-12 year old team finished the year with a win over Redd Pest Solutions and a record of 3-9.

Sports Center Head Coach Chance Fenn said he had assistant coach help from Christopher Sewell and Patrick Wells this year.

“We all had a rough season that’s for sure,” Fenn said, “but we improved by the end of the year.”

Cooper Wells, 12, had the team’s top batting average with .583, and he was one of the pitchers for Sports Center, Fenn said.

Colton Rabb, 11, batted .455 and also saw pitching duty.

“Colton was a strong pitcher for us this year,” Fenn said.

Batting lefty for the club was 11-year-old Chris Sewell who had a home run over the right field fence this year and batted .375.
