NATCHEZ— Services for Ossie Jean Jackson, 69, of Natchez, who died Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenleaf Baptist Church Cemetery in Harriston, under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was born Jan. 14, 1950, in Fayette, the son of Henry Whitfield Jackson and Elvira Queen Jackson.

He was retired from Chrysler Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry and Kenneth Jackson; and one sister, Damatia Powers White.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn Taylor and wife, Monica, and Ja’Cari Jackson; four daughters, Carla Walker and husband, Jessie, Lakiesha Creighton, Andrea Wilson and husband, Johnny, and Kimberly D. Queen; four brothers, the Rev. Larry Jackson and wife, Sharon, Michael Jackson and wife, Donna, Chris Powers and wife, Juanita, and Michael Powers and wife, Tammy; four sisters, Aletha Mims, Shelia Young and husband, Anthony, Gladys P. Washington and Dejohnetten Eakins and husband, Gregory; two stepdaughters, Angela King and husband, Michael, and Daphne Queen; and other relatives and friends.
