VIDALIA— Services for Willie Mae McCoy, 74, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.
Burial will follow at Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. McCoy was born Nov. 28, 1944, in Natchez, the daughter of Travis McCoy Sr. and Bertha Middleton McCoy.
She was retired from the Concordia Parish School System as a teacher’s aide.
Ms. McCoy was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter and grandson, Megan MCoy and LaFrederick McCoy; and four sisters, Ethel Brown, Martha Brown, Barbara Johnson and Ruby Dominique.
