FERRIDAY — Ferriday police have identified the victims of a Wednesday afternoon shooting that killed a man and a woman.

The female victim is Jaylyn Guice, 20, and the male victim is Samuel Johnson, 20, both of Ferriday, said investigator Richard Madison of the Ferriday Police Department.

“Right now, it is still being classified as a homicide,” Madison said. “We haven’t gotten the coroner’s ruling back.”

Madison said he also is awaiting ballistics tests.

The two victims were found shot to death at 107 Johnson St. in Ferriday on Wednesday afternoon.

“It is sill under investigation,” Madison said.
