FAYETTE—Rennie E. Geoghegan, 100, passed away from this world, Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Fayette Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating. She was so very proud to reach her 100thbirthday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
Rennie was born June 8, 1919, in Adams County, but the family moved to Jefferson County when she was at a very young age. She proudly called Jefferson County home until moving into Natchez Rehab Nursing Home in the early 2000s.
She was a member of Stanton Baptist Church in Adams County. She enjoyed her hobbies of crocheting, reading and her friends.
Rennie was preceded in death by her parents, Claude S. Geoghegan and Rennie V. Geoghegan and four brothers, Earl Geoghegan, Archie Geoghegan, Stewart Geoghegan and Donald Geoghegan Sr.
Survivors include one sister of 95 years, Lydia G. Magee of Brookhaven and a number of nieces, nephews, including Donnie Geoghegan.
