John Jerome Arnold

NATCHEZ — Jerome Arnold, 77, of Natchez, was born September 25, 1942, to Floyd and Artie (Chandler) Arnold in Adams County. He attended high school at Washington High in Washington and graduated in 1960. He served in the National Guard and later went to work as an electrician at the International Paper Company.

In 1976 he married Jeffrie (Luke) and welcomed her children, Carmen and Trey into the marriage. They went on to welcome their children Luke, Kelly and Candice into the family. Throughout Jerome’s working life, he ranched and worked in pipeline rehab in the states of Wyoming and Colorado. He also had the opportunity to spend some time overseas in Israel drilling gas wells.

Jerome is survived by his children, Trey Arnold and wife Cory of Castle Rock, Colorado; Carmen Gunderson and husband Randy of Aurora, Colorado; Luke Arnold and wife Tami of Hudson, Colorado; Kelly Pate and husband CJ of Woodson, Texas; and Candice Arnold of Rockdale, Texas; and his 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Shirley McCallister and husband Barney of Natchez; Dwight Arnold and wife Linda of Natchez; Terry Arnold and wife Kim of Mooresburg, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Floyd, Acey Neil, Agnes, Charles, Jeanette and Rodney.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  Local arrangements under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
