NATCHEZ— Services for Noel Anderson Melton, 76, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be noon Sunday at Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Grady Fulton officiating.
Burial will follow at the McCall Creek Church of God Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Mr. Melton was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Liberty, the son of James Noel Melton and Eddie V. Melton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Odell Sterling and Emma Jean Rogers; two brothers, George Calvin Melton and James Lee Melton; one daughter-in-law, Lisa G. Melton; and one great-granddaughter, Paisley Olivia Melton.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Ann Dunigan Melton; three daughters, Sherlene Thornton and husband, Curtis, Belinda K. Dickens and husband, Donnie, and Teresa D. Dooley and husband, Chris; three sons, Joel A. Melton, Wendell Ray Melton and Michael E. Melton; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Melton, Bryce Bond, Benton Thornton, Josh Melton, Aaron Dickens and Logan Dooley.
