NATCHEZ— Services for Kenneth R. Hale, 66, of Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at Riverside Baptist Church in Natchez, with the Rev. Spruce Deerden officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Louisiana.
Mr. Kenny was born July 16, 1953, in Lebanon, Indiana. He attended Riverside Baptist Church. He also was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, a retired foreman from Murphy Oil Company, a member of Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge No. 2 and a Noble of Barak Shrine Temple-Monroe, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Hale.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hale; one daughter, Jennifer Mathis and husband, Brad, of Galliano, Louisiana; one son, Beau Hale and wife, Holly Nicole, of Natchez; seven grandchildren, John Austin Pitre, Keri-Beth Pitre, Andrew Mathis, Ethan Mathis, Phoebe Claire Hale, Drake Hale and Cooper Hale; his father, the Rev. Hurshel Hale and wife, Paula, of Linton, Indiana; two sisters, Cheri Stephens and husband, Charlie, and Pamela Hale-Anderson, all of Linton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his beloved cat, Earl.
Pallbearers will be James “Chicken” Berry, Robert Atwood, Beaux Gautreau, John Austin-Pitre, Erik Millick and Kyle Fuller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Pitre, Clayton Humphreys and Nobles of Barak Shrine.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
