Tuesday update: State reports more COVID-19 cases in Adams County; Number of state cases up to 937

The Mississippi Department of Health reported two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 for Adams County Tuesday morning. A total of 10 cases have been reported for the county.

For the state, MSDH reports an additional 90 cases of the virus, increasing the state’s total to 937 cases.

The state also reported 4 additional deaths. In all, 20 people have died in Mississippi due to COVID-19. Two of the deaths were reported in Wilkinson County and one death has been reported in Amite County.
