NATCHEZ — Private graveside services for Donnis Mae Kahl, 92, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 2, 2020, in Natchez will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rajesh Bahara officiating.  Services are under the direction of Laird Funeral home.

Mrs. Kahl was born May 17, 1927, in McComb, MS. the daughter of Harmon S. Flowers and Annie Roe Flowers.

Mrs. Donnis was a very Godly woman and she was known to be a woman of prayer.

She was a little white-haired lady with a great big heart.  A member of Parkway Baptist Church she spent her time working for the lord through teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir. She raised a family to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. She never met a Stranger only a friend she had not met yet. She like any other Grandmother spent her time caring for and praying for her family. She was always willing to take time to talk with anyone and listen to them and provide Council to help them through whatever issues they were going through. She would be known to always say Remember God is in control and we just need to trust in him and he will lead us in the way to go.

Mrs. Kahl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garland Kahl and son Glenn Hall.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Allen Hall and wife Elizabeth, of Petal, MS., Larry Hall of Natchez; one sister, Melba Pine of Ohio; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  And she leaves behind a very large church family at Parkway Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkway Baptist Church.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at lairdfh.com.
