Monday update: Mississippi reports 161 new COVID-19 cases, six new cases in Adams County

NATCHEZ — The Mississippi State Department of Health reported 161 new cases of the COVID-19 virus and two new virus-related deaths on Monday.

Since March, Mississippi has had a total of 2,942 reported cases of the virus and 98 virus-related deaths.

Adams County had six new cases of the virus reported on Monday for a total of 57 cases since March. Adams County still has one virus-related death and two long-term care facility outbreaks reported by MSDH on Monday.
