State officials declined to provide any identifying information pertaining to COVID-19 patients beyond what is stated on the website msdh.ms.gov, including the names of long-term care facilities with confirmed COVID-19 outbreaks and deaths.

“God bless this family,” Lee said of the patients’ family who died Friday. “I would like to encourage everyone to continue social distancing. Be smart. Please follow CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines. This virus is a novel virus and therefore there are still many unknowns.”
