A small group of balloonists who have flown in the Natchez Balloon Festival traveled to the Miss-Lou this Memorial Day holiday weekend to lift spirits and punctuate the sky with colorful balloons.

Six pilots took off from Concordia Parish early Saturday morning and flew across the parish south of Vidalia. More flights are planned for the area, weather permitting.
