Adams County Safe Room to open in event of severe weather
Adams County is expecting possible severe weather tonight through Monday morning. The Safe Room will open in the event of severe thunderstorms or a tornado watch.
“We will still recognize the CDC and MSDH guidelines, due to the current circumstances,” said Neifa Hardy, liaison for the Adams County Emergency Operations Center. “So, we are asking that you bring a mask or face covering and a set of gloves to protect yourself. Bring your own blanket and any needed medication. One pet per family is also welcome, but the pet must be kenneled.”
If you require any special needs, contact the Safe Room in advance to make prior arrangements, the number to call is 601-445-3525.
