NATCHEZ — Services for Lelia Mae Harris, 78, of Natchez, who passed Wednesday, June 10, in Tampa, Florida will be held on Saturday, June 20 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Charles Baptist Church cemetery on HWY 84 East, Cranfield, Mississippi.  

Lelia Mae Barnes Harris was born December 13, 1941, in Cranfield, Mississippi to Mamie Barnes and Henderson Barnes.

Lelia was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Barnes and her father, Henderson Barnes and one infant brother, her maternal grandmother and grandfather, Carrie Dunmore Washington and Moses Washington and her paternal grandmother and grandfather, David and Mary Barnes.

Lelia is survived by her three children, Jacqueline Ann Harris-Zubber (Michael), Steven Orlando Harris, and Vicki Renee Guillory (Ramsey). She has five grandchildren, Kedric Harris (Porcher), Paige Tyson, Cortni Tyson, Adriana Hughes, and Raman Guillory. She has four great-grandchildren, Korinne Harris, Kamaron Harris, Kandace Harris, and Aarion Joseph, Jr. Her surviving four brothers and three sisters are James Barnes (Hermolee), Hilda Barnes, Eunice Lee Barnes, John Barnes (Mary), Andrew Watkins, Mamie Barnes Swepson (David), and Eloise Barnes. She was beloved by her nieces and nephews, Co-Sandra Barnes, Darlene Barnes, Angela Hargrave (Jim), Carlos Swepson (Markisha), Joi Swepson, Yolanda Barnes, Samuel Barnes, Jon Michael Barnes and other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
