WATERPROOF — Funeral services for Fleming “Nuck” Clark, Jr., 56, of San Diego, CA, formerly of Waterproof, LA will be held June 20, 2020, at 11 a.m. from Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the First United Church Cemetery in Waterproof with Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Mr. Clark, son of John Fleming Hall and Maple Clark was born in Waterproof and died in San Diego, CA.

Growing up in New Orleans after the death of his mother, he developed a passion for cooking which became his life work and ministry. He relocated to San Diego and found employment in the restaurant industry. He was last employed as a general manager for Denny’s.

He is survived by his children, Tenesia, Tasheika, Tandreika (Antonio, Sr.), Fleming Jr., and Dimitri; grandchildren, Dwight Howard, Jayden, Karter, Arlo and  Fleming Clark III; his sisters, Gladys Williams, Gloria Jefferson, Rosetta and  Maple Clark; his brothers, Clarence Myers, Bobby Hall (Jennifer); John Hall (Betty); Alfred Clark (Gloria); Johnny Clark and Ananiah Clark (Berdetta).

Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Clark is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Joseph and Emmaline Clark, granddaughter, De’Janae Howard.
