Natchez Police Department searching for 3 juveniles who have reportedly escaped from detention center

The Natchez Police Department is looking for three male juveniles who have reportedly escaped from the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center in downtown Natchez.

NPD issued a phone alert at 9:30 pm Saturday to residents reporting the escape of three African American juveniles wearing khaki pants and white T-shirts.

The alerts asked residents who see anyone matching the description to call 911.

Natchez Police Chief Walter Armstrong said his officers and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office are looking for the three males. Armstrong said two of the males have been charged with burglary and the other on auto crime charges.

Armstrong said how the juveniles escaped is under investigation.
