NATCHEZ—Natchez Police Officers were called to Merit Health Natchez at approximately 10:14 p.m. Sunday night. However, when they arrived, they met with a very uncooperative victim.

NPD Commander Jerry Ford said this morning that the victim had been stabbed multiple times but refused to tell officers who stabbed him or where the incident occurred.

Ford said the man’s stab wounds were non-life threatening.

“They were mostly superficial,” he said.

Ford said the Natchez Police Department is investigating the incident, even though the witness is not cooperating.

“We are still looking into it,” he said.
