Date Change: Police jury meeting Tuesday in honor of Veteran’s Day

VIDALIA, La. — In observance of Veteran’s Day today, the Concordia Parish Police Jury will meet one day later than usual.
The police jury, which typically meets every second and fourth Monday of each month, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, instead of Monday because of the holiday.
Tuesday’s agenda includes discussion of approving homeland security upgrades at the Concordia Parish Courthouse as well as courthouse boiler repairs in the amount of $6,056.
The police jury will also discuss approval of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Annual Bridge Resolution.
The police jury may also discuss ordinance violations, work orders and the road superintendent’s material and work requests and new business if any exist.
The meeting takes place inside Room 2 at the courthouse, located on the second floor at 4001 Carter Street.
