UPDATE: East Baton Rouge escapee who is from Concordia Parish back in custody

CLAYTON, La. — Kyshaune McCular, 22, had escaped from the Louisiana Workforce in East Baton Rouge Parish and is now back in custody, authorities said.
He had previously been arrested in Concordia Parish for illegal possession of stolen things, simple burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Authorities accurately thought McCular, who is from Clayton, would return there after he had escaped from work release on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024.
He had been picked up at 8:17 a.m. Wednesday from a residence in Clayton.
