NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Lucy Perry, 86, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, in Natchez will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill #2 Baptist Church with Pastor Walter Sago officiating.

Burial will follow at Grove AME Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Lucy was born July 9, 1938, in Perrytown, MS, the daughter of Elizabeth Lyles and Sam Williams. She was educated in the school system and was retired from Frank’s Service Station. Mrs. Perry was a member of Zion Hill #2 Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Perry, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Ann Perry; sons, Willie Lee Perry, and Joseph Lee Perry; parents; and grandson, Patrick Lamont Fleming.

Lucy leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Barbara Ann Perry and Linda Marie Fleming; eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
