NATCHEZ — Carol Tisdale Tyms, 65, of Natchez, departed this earthly life on Jan. 17, 2025, at the Bluffs Nursing Home in Vicksburg, MS. Visitation will be held on Jan. 27, 2025, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Bateaste Funeral Home in Natchez. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Carol was born on June 20, 1959, to Eddie Joe Tisdale and Lucille Newton.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Jerome Ward; and daughter, Michelle Lynette Tisdale.

Carol was a loving wife of twelve years to her husband, Herbert Tyms. She loved her family and those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Christopher and Craig Tisdale of Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren, Christopher Tisdale Jr., Tristain Lavigne, and Craig Tisdale Jr; aunt, Ethel Smith; niece, Shankerria McMorris; and nephew, Shannon Tisdale.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
