NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Tawana L. Campbell, 53, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, in Natchez will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at West Gate Funeral Home with Pastor Dywon Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Watkins Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Tawana was born on Nov. 18, 1972, in Natchez, the daughter of Barbara Clayton White and Thomas White, SSG USA Ret. She was a graduate of Natchez High School and was employed as a custodian. Mrs. Campbell was a member of New Hope-The Vision Center. She enjoyed having fun and laughing.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas “Red” White III.

Tawana’s memories will be forever cherished by her husband, Charles O. “Lump” Campbell Jr.; her parents, Barbara White and Thomas White Jr.; sons, Asanta Clayton, Marvin A. “Chucky” Alexander Jr., Lloyd Brown and Charles Campbell; brother, Michael Clayton; sisters, Erica Elliot, Rebecca White, Geraldine White, Ranisha White, Jade Green and Jordan Green; aunt, Lourdene Hendrick and Tina Price, other relatives and friends.
