NATCHEZ—Funeral services for Daniel Poindexter “Dan” McCall, 90, of Natchez, who passed away on Feb. 7, 2025, at his residence, will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church in Natchez. Bro. Paul Southerland will officiate under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held at Highland Baptist Church on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Daniel, affectionately known as “Dan,” was born April 15, 1934, in McCall Creek, MS, to Felix McCall and Helon Miller McCall. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and Treasurer. Daniel loved gardening and woodworking.

Daniel “Dan” was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Helon Miller McCall; two sisters, Peggy Allen and Virginia Holland and husband, Robert; four brothers, Enoch McCall and wife, Sue, Claude McCall and wife, Johnnie, Noland McCall and wife, Mayford and Joe McCall and wife, Bernice.

Daniel “Dan” leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Penny McCall; one daughter, Dana Stringer and husband, Allan; two sons, Bruce McCall and wife, Stephanie and Brent McCall and wife, Terri; ten grandchildren, Britton McCall, Minoy Williams and husband, Justin, Christian Stringer and wife, Sophie, Garrett Stringer and wife, Natalie, Maci McCall, Zoe McCall and Presley McCall; two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Aiden, and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
