NATCHEZ – Visitation for Orlean “Teen” Davidson, 85, of Natchez who died on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, will be held from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davidson was born on June 9, 1939, in LaSalle Parish, LA to Ike Earl Hailey and Bennie Mae Johnson Hailey.

Mrs. Davidson was a retired legal secretary. She was a member of the Catahoula Parish Homemaker’s Club where she served as President, Vice President, and Secretary; the Louisiana State Homemaker’s Club where she served as President, Vice President Treasurer, and Secretary; a founding member of the Catahoula DAR; and was the owner of Davidson Package Store.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. “Bubba” Davidson; her parents; and sisters, Beth May, Georgia Jones, Vera Walker, and Ikie Henderson.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Havard and Nancy Bass both of Natchez; one stepson, Mark Davidson and wife, Renee of Clinton, MS; grandchildren, Whitney Arbuckle Dossett and husband, Gage, Will Arbuckle, Andrew Bass, Megan Bass, McKenzie Davidson and Michael Davidson, and great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Bass. She is also survived by two nieces, Raye Henderson and Beth Ann and Scott Maxfield, and nephew, Jay Houston, Jr. and Tracy May.

Pallbearers will be Will Arbuckle, Andrew Bass, Gage Dossett, Scott Maxfield, Mark Davidson, and Raye Henderson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Beene, Jack Sojourner, Clay Gibson, Jon Garner, and Michael Davidson.
