The Krewe of Mer on Saturday celebrated its 30th annual grand ball — a Venetian masquerade that blended the elegance and mystique of Venice with the rich traditions of Mardi Gras in Natchez.
The highlight of the evening festivities was the presentation of the 2025 Royal Court, including King Jordan Wells, Queen Jada Billiyah E’mund Shelby, Captain Alma Rankin, Duchess Jarita Frazier King, Duchess Courtney Danielle Frazier, Duke Tremaine Ford, Duchess Gwendolyn Harris and Duchess LaDonna Washington.
