MEADVILLE, MS – Mrs. Jo Beth Coleman, 88, of McComb, MS, passed from this life on Feb. 19, 2025, at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Tullos, LA on Sept. 11, 1936, to Mr. Marmey Tradewell and Mrs. Zotis Gjerstad.

A visitation will be held at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow at the church Cemetery with Rev. Leon Wallace officiating.

She enjoyed the outdoors, birds, fishing, and being with friends and family.

She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Marmey Tradewell and Zotis Gjerstad; husband, Nathaniel Coleman; and grandson, Robert N. Barton III.

She is survived by daughters, Mariea Coleman Torrey (Joe) of Vicksburg, MS, and Theresa Ann Coleman of Baton Rouge, LA; sons, Nathaniel J. Coleman of Liberty, MS, and Adrian Coleman (Melissa) of McCall Creek, MS; brother, Michael Tradewell of Jena, LA; grandchildren, Nathaniel “Nathan” Coleman, Joshua Torrey, Candice Torrey, Amanda Higgins, Trinity Coleman, and Casie Lambert; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.

Pallbearers are Trinity Coleman, J. T. Lambert, Nathan Coleman, Joe Torrey, Carruth Higgins, and Will Causey, and honorary pallbearers are Joshua Torrey, Nathaniel Coleman, and Adrian Coleman.
