FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Charlette Jean Holland Wright, 50, of Delhi, LA will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. with Bro. John “JT” Thurman officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon until the service time at 2 p.m.

Charlette was born on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1974, in Greenville, MS, and passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, in Jackson, MS. Charlette was a woman whose heart belonged to her husband, David. Their love was something special—a bond built on adventure, laughter, and an unshakable partnership. Whether it was a weekend getaway or a long journey to someplace new, Charlette cherished every moment spent traveling with David. Exploring new places together was one of her greatest joys, turning every trip into a beautiful memory they shared.

Beyond her love for adventure, Charlette’s heart was fullest when she was with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and there was no place she’d rather be than on the sidelines, cheering them on at their games. She celebrated their victories and offered encouragement in their defeats, always their biggest fan.

Family gatherings were another of Charlette’s favorite things. She loved being surrounded by the people she cherished most, sharing stories, laughter, and home-cooked meals. Whether it was a holiday or just an ordinary Sunday, she found joy in bringing everyone together.

Charlette’s love for life, her family, and the adventures she shared with David made her someone truly unforgettable. She lived fully, loved deeply, and left a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories.

She is reunited with her son, David Landon Wright; parents, Charles Holland and Edith Jean Inmon Holland; and maternal grandparents, Mary Louise Inmon and John “Pappy” Inmon.
Those left to cherish Charlette’s memories are the love of her life of 32 years, Herman David Wright of Delhi, LA; her daughter, Kari Woods and her husband, Matt of Vidalia; son, Sabastian Wright of Delhi, LA; brother, Jonathan Holland of Delhi, LA; grandchildren, Connor Woods, Aaron Woods, and Savannah Woods; special friend, Melanie Montoya and her husband, Alex; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
