NATCHEZ – Funeral Services for Gilbert Dean, 80, of West Point, MS who died on Feb. 12, 2025, will be at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at Greater Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Natchez with Pastor Robert E. Brownlee Sr., officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 5 p.m., at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Services Chapel.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the directions of Bateaste Memorial

Funeral Services.

Gilbert was born on Sept. 6, 1944, the son of Joe Pullins and Mary E. Dean Pullins.

He was a mechanic.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Pullins and Mary E. Dean Pullins; and brother, Elmer Louis Dean.

He is survived by his son, Pastor Irving O. Dean (Renee); daughter, Tiffany Dean McKnight (Robert); two bonus sons, Marlon Dean and Bradrick Dean Sr.; granddaughters, Kaitlyn McKnight and Kelsey McKnight; former wife and friend Audrey I. Dean; and grandson, Tyrell Dean Sr.
