NATCHEZ – A Celebration of Life for Robert Dean “Bobby” Willis, 62, of Natchez who died on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, in Natchez will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home.

Bobby was born on April 3, 1962, to Walter Newton Willis and Rita Britt Willis in Natchez. He attended schools in Adams County. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked for Natchez Butane for 12 years and as a saw filer at Byrne Sawmill Service for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Willis, and mother, Rita Willis; his paternal grandmother, Mina Cooper; a brother, Michael Willis; and a son, Christian Avery Willis.

He is survived by a sister, Angela Mcleod; a brother, Leon Willis; his wife, Christina French Willis; four sons, Robert Aaron Willis, Henry Alexander Willis, Thomas Adam Willis, and William Ashton Willis; and daughter-in-law, Jolyn Higdon Willis; and two granddaughters and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was an avid New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed fishing, concerts, rock and roll, and guitar picking.
