NATCHEZ – First responders are working to recover a body that belongs to a disabled person who had been missing since  Sunday morning.

Ezekiel Conner had been reported missing since approximately 5:30 a.m. on Sunday from the Hurricane Road area in Natchez. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and no shoes.

Family members said he was a vulnerable adult and needed medication. Natchez Police Chief Cal Green said Conner reportedly “ran out of the home” he was in. Police were searching when a report had been received Monday morning stating a deceased person had been found in the area of Laurel Hill Drive.

It seems as though Conner had fallen into a ravine, Green said, adding the coroner would verify the cause of death once they recover his body.
