NATCHEZ — Hoping for a career in law enforcement, the fire service or as an emergency medical first responder?

The City of Natchez Police Department and the Natchez Fire Department will host a First Responders Job Fair on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Natchez Civic Center, 215 Franklin St., Natchez.

Natchez Police Chief Cal Green said Thursday’s Job Fair “will be an excellent chance to explore multiple job opportunities in one place.

Green said leaders in the city’s police and fire departments will be on hand to discuss available jobs, the training process and compensation and benefits, as well as long-term opportunities.

Each department has openings for jobs that are career-track, providing great benefits and compensation packages, including paying for training.
