NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Charlie Green Love, Jr., 71, of Natchez, who passed away on Feb. 27, 2025, will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Pleasant Green Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Alexander White officiating under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez and on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 9 a.m. until the service time at the church.

Charlie, affectionately known as “June Bug”, was born on July 2, 1953, in Leflore County, MS, to Charlie Sr. and Lannie Love. He served honorably in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Juanita, Arnita, Connie, Mae, Henrietta, and Earnestine; and two brothers, Donald and Eugene.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Marie Love; four stepchildren, Jacqueline, Roderick, Angie, and James; three brothers, William (Charlie Mae), Jimmie (Eva, and Ricky (Carolyn); children raised as his own: Floyd, Michael, and Shunta Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
