BROOKHAVEN—Graveside services for Jean Gross will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11 a.m., at New Prospect Baptist Church, 691 US-84, Brookhaven, MS, 39601. Brookhaven Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.

Jean Gross, 94, of Brookhaven, formerly of Natchez, passed away peacefully among family on March 5, 2025. She was born in Brookhaven on Jan. 15, 1931, to Willard Fauver and Myrtis Fauver (née Vaughn). Until recently, she attended First Assembly of God Church in Natchez and was church secretary for 15 years. She loved to garden, cook delicious meals and treats for her family, and talk about salvation through Jesus Christ, including her own. She was a treasure to those who knew her.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Willard Fauver; her mother, Myrtis Fauver; brothers Clifton Fauver, JW (Red) Fauver, Cabye Fauver, and Billy Ray Fauver; and sister Bobbie White.

She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Fauver; sons, Charles Michael Gross and John Nolan Gross; daughter, Sandra Campbell; granddaughters, Lauren Besse, Stephanie Gentry, Ashleigh Gentry, and Summer Campbell; grandson, Skyler Gross, and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
