NATCHEZ — A Woodville man lost his life Thursday at 8:32 a.m in a crash on Mississippi 24 in Wilkinson County.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the fatal crash.

MHP Spokesman Craig James said Russell D. Vines of Woodville was driving a 2009 Toyota Tacoma east on Mississippi Highway 24 when it collided with a 2005 Ford F-350 driven by Andrew Williams, 60, of Centreville, traveling westbound.

Vines sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

James said the crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
